Sukrin Gold es una alternativa totalmente natural, sin gluten, baja en calorías y baja en carbohidratos al azúcar moreno, con el aroma, el dulzor, el sabor y la textura del azúcar moreno. Perfecto para té y café, para hornear y hacer postres sin azúcar sin comprometer el sabor, y dondequiera que normalmente usaría azúcar moreno normal.
Sukrin Gold es principalmente eritritol, que es un poliol. Los polioles son carbohidratos que no tienen ningún efecto sobre el azúcar en la sangre. Para elaborar Sukrin Gold, fermentan la glucosa del almidón de maíz no transgénico con un cultivo natural, de forma muy similar al proceso utilizado en la producción de queso y yogur. El líquido resultante se seca y se añade un poco de stevia junto con malta para darle el sabor, el aroma y la textura del azúcar moreno, pero con un 97% menos de carbohidratos disponibles y menos de 1 IG. Sukrin Gold no tiene ningún efecto sobre el azúcar en la sangre. Sukrin Gold no contiene colorantes, aditivos ni conservantes artificiales.
