High protein option
I love love this mix. It’s so creamy, tasty and versatile and much cheaper than getting light frozen yogurt or light ice cream from the store. The only suggestion I have is, when mixing the product with water, add a small amount of water first (like 1/4 of the total water) and mix it well. Then slowly add the rest. This helps the mixture not to be clumpy. Also, I have waited the 30 minutes they suggest in the packaging and have also used the mixer alternative, but found that the best is to add the water in the method I mentioned.
For those of you looking for a higher protein version, I would suggest substituting some of this powder for whey powder. I usually use 4 scoops of chocolate and 2 scoops of chocolate carbolite to make a whole pint on the ice cream machine.
